RaspApp for beginners

The best part of installing RaspAP is the little icon that pops up during the installation process - a small but satisfying touch.

Even with a simple tutorial, I still encountered a few challenges:

1. Ensuring that the Raspberry Pi version has a built-in Wi-Fi adapter - otherwise, buying one online if it’s not available.
2. I was supposed to back up all my original files on the Pi, but none of the tutorials I followed worked as expected. This is still something I’m exploring.
3. Learning how to confirm if the LAN interface is live, check the IP information, and test internet reachability.
4. Discovering that curl ... | bash doesn’t run properly when both LAN and Wi-Fi are connected to the Pi at the same time.

Once RaspAP is installed, the interface is quite simple to navigate and feels intuitive.

I’m now keen to test simple MQTT platforms to connect the sensors to the Pi and PC - this will likely be my next step, alongside reviewing introductory materials on edge and cloud computing.
